Training – The Defense Travel System (2/12/2013) 40 The Defense Travel System (DTS) is a fully integrated, electronic, end-to-end travel management system that automates temporary duty travel for the Department of Defense.

At each meeting, I preside, preserve order and enforce the Constitution, Bylaws and the Federal Collective Bargaining Agreement with upper and middle management within our Code 970 and Shop 71. I preside, our Local Union 1941 meeting every 2nd Saturday of each month held at our HFMTC facility office Bldg 167, Room 101. I oversee the employee grievances procedure and ADR alternate dispute resolution process within Shop 71. I also decide all questions of order during each meeting subject to an appeal to the membership as required. I have the knowledge of the CBA, collecting bargaining agreement for the Navy Pearl Harbor Shipyard and IMF and able to interpret with our management and workforce personnel. I am also responsible for requiring all officers to provide appropriate reports to the membership as required by provisions, in this Constitution and the Bylaws. I also responsible to sign all orders by the Treasurer or checks upon the funds in banks authorized by the Local Union; but on no consideration shall sign warrants or checks for money to be donated or loaned to members. I fully comply strictly with all provisions of the Constitution governing the expenditures of monies.
