Role:

• Reduced model changover time from 40 mins to SMED at Hero line.

• Reduced the area in-process rejection from 0.14 % to 0.09 % by various kaizens and Poka-yoke on lines.

• Reduced the FI (Operation skipped) defects from 0.08 % to 0.05% on Suzuki and Hero line by interlocking the process sequence

• OEE improvement from 85% to 89% ; Lead the set-up of New IMV Line for Toyota business development; developed new models in line with active participation &validation while PPT and MPT trials

• Reduced the Cleansol Consumption and saved up to Rs. 3,80,000 /year by reducing machine testing area

• Successfully implemented Kanban system for all SOP models and executed suggestion scheme reward on shop floor to improve morale of the co-workers

• Steered efforts in reducing the KST 4- layer rejection by implementing thickness sensing LVDT on closing station.
