EXPERIENCE:
-City Of Garland, Garland TX — Swimming Instructor
(May2019 - Aug2019)
As this was my first job I was overly excited for the experience. With this job, I've learned my best customer service as a translation from a child to a parent with language barriers to maintain good communication.
-Wendy's, Shreveport LA — Cashier/Line Worker
(May 2020 - Dec 2020)-(May2021-July2021)
Due to COVID, I had to manage a job and do online classes for half a year. This job helped me with time management and adjusting to such hard times. I was a well-managed member, even training people if needed.
-Little Caesars, Ruston LA — Cashier
(Sept 2021 - Nov 2021)
Due to my school work and band timing, I was sadly let go from this position. I often wish I could've stayed but that wasn't in my cards for life. It was simple work, so not much was learned but experience in a pizzeria.
-Material Scientist Assistant, Grambling LA — Assistant Scientist
(Sept 2020 - May 2024)
I work with other students and heavy, expensive, and potentially dangerous machines if they aren't used properly. I worked under the work-study as we worked in line with NASA research. Also, I came to love the study of materials. I first was assigned with a group to conduct experiments sponsored by either LaSpace or NASA themselves. After finishing a theory on my material, I helped my professor make other students just as prepared as me in this line of study.
-Chili's Bar and Grill, Ruston LA — Dishwasher / Crew Member
(Sept 2023 - Nov 2024)
Sadly due to car troubles, I was let go as I had no form of transportation but myself at the time. I was a simple dishwasher so not much experience was taken but the understanding of being let go from a job due to issues in life.
-FM Sales Associate, Grambling LA — Sales Associates
(Jan 2024 - March 2024)
I’ve found many ways to communicate in sales pitches and better communication with appointments and meet-up days in this job. Unfortunately, I had to leave due to school issues and family emergencies. Yet, I feel remote jobs are very useful for students with much more free time than me.
-Cici's Pizza, Shreveport LA — Cashier/ Crew Member
