●Published a practical, streamlined, and rapid technique to notify and disseminate educational targets to the appropriate stakeholders concerning daily and weekly standards in compliance with FLDOE laws and regulations. In turn, the notifications about the lack of ease of accessing the targets were decreased within the first 24 hours resulting in no new notifications or delays reported
●Improved and solved technical issues for 9 faculty members and a possible reach of 150+ students per member during the transition from brick-and-mortar learning to online learning
●Represented and sponsored a health science chapter of 100+ students at the 2015 HOSA Region VIII Leadership Conference and the 2016 Region VIII Winter Conference, and chaired the Forensic Medicine events on a team of health science sponsors internal to the organization and external to the chapter
●Identified ineffective issues in the lack of knowledge of a technical notification process and pinpointed a solution to increase communication with digital platforms that eliminates departmental silos and drives increasingly transparent outcomes

Duties and Responsibilities
●Primary responsibility of researching, investigating, and reporting cases of communicable disease in the statewide Covid-19 response
●Provide professional guidance in carrying out objectives of the mission
●Interviewed patients and contacts to establish their case history and obtain contact information by applying excellence in motivational interviewing, cultural competency, and case management software and mailed contacts their results notification
●Discuss symptoms onset, exposure dates, and referrals to health care services and resource coordination
●Record and establish the description and timeline of onset of symptoms and interviews case to determine all possibly exposed individuals
●Explain information and recommendations regarding isolation and quarantine parameters, services available to case, and monitor case for ongoing needs and disease clearance
●Help case develop an appropriate plan which may include referral to another agency or professional
●Maintain detailed records of cases and assemble into periodic reports via data entry and proficiency with computer software programs
●Answer inquiries involved with contact tracing duties related to quarantine and monitoring of contacts

●Helped to reduce the new number of Covid-19 cases in Florida from 9,446 to 5,831 during a peak in 200+ reported daily deaths and new pediatric Covid-19 cases
