M A Experienced Bartender

I’m an experienced bartender for over ** years, my first job was at Nepenthe

where I learned how to bartend in the late 70s. Over the years I have tended bar all over Big Sur and the Monterey peninsula. I like to work in a clean and organized environment. I’m a dedicated hard worker and I work great under pressure. Keeping every thing stocked. Helping the wait staff during a rush, clearing tables, what ever it takes. I look forward to going to work, every day is different you never know who you‘ll meet, or what old friends will show up next . I put pride in my work, I enjoy learning how to make new cocktails and infusing different mixes. Whipping up conversations with out of towners share the history of our wonderful Monterey Bay as well as making them feel welcome is a great perk in hospitality and I have fun doing it !

Other things I’ve done, is I’m a strong part of our community, volunteering and working for the Salinas Rodeo since 1996, and a PRCA, “ Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association” Photographer since 1997. I’ve also been working for The Hearst Corporation since 2007, documenting their grass fed cattle operation, as well as a book with Victoria Kastner. “Hearst Ranch” Family, Land and Legacy, as well as California Range Land Trust since 2012. I also have been taking photos for Kpig Radio since 2000.

A little work history….

Currently working part time at The Elkhorn Yacht Club. I was working at Pescadreo in Carmel, in 2018 till Covid hit in 2019 I helped open The 101 Winepress in 2018.

In 2017& 2018 I worked at Bernardus Lodge, and loved it. Helped open Dubber’s Old-town, in Salinas, bartender for five years. Worked at Mission Ranch for 5 years loved working during the AT&T.. Grower’s Pub in Salinas for 3years.

I also worked at Taste of Monterey part time in 2006, which I really enjoyed. References:
