Overall office management of regional office, supervision and security control of 100 km high pressure gas transmission pipeline associated with national gas grid network with three valve stations, one rms, one scrapper trap station. Maintenance of utility network of all stations, reporting to higher authority, controlling subordinates around 100 people, keep office area clean and tidy, maintain of vip guesthouse, operation and maintenance of Generator etc.

Operation maintenance of High pressure Compressor station (centrifugal gas compressor(3nos.), capacity 250 mmscfd, suction pressure 650 psig, discharge pressure 1000 psig, temp. 70 F-133 F, driver gas turbine, RPM 12000) associated with National Gas Grid line, Responsible for all activities, regular reporting of inlet/out let pressure, temp, flow in order to uninterruptedly supply of natural gas to west-south part of Bangladesh. High tech control room operation, leadership skills, data analysis of gas flow through high pressure gas transmission pipeline. Maintaining all utilities supply for smooth operation of Gas compressor plant. Reconciliation of material/spare parts of high pressure 250 MMSCFD gas compressor (3 nos.) for 3 years maintenance work. Supervision of spare parts quality checking according to specification ANSI/ASME code. While conducting any fabrication work or piping work above ground maintain proper quality by checking quality of welding by Radiographic testing method, then it tested by hydrostatic method and in case of underground pipeline wrapping, coating checking, holiday checking and hydrostatic testing are conducted to ensure quality. All activities like Preparation of TOR, EOI for engagement of Individual Consultant, evaluation report, notice for committee, cooperation with Bakhrabad–Siddirganj Gas Transmission Pipeline project Director, consultant of World Bank, preparation of Bid documents and evaluation and all other documentary tasks. Main task done : Cooperation with site engineers and Project Director, preparation of daily /quarterly/monthly progress report, calculation of weighted progress & actual progress, report of annual procurement status, annual budget of implementation of the project in order to sending Ministry and Petrobangla, preparation of Bid document for construction of a City Gate Station (high pressure gas metering, regulating & heating facilities), design/drawing of City Gate Station at Bheramara, Kustia, Bangladesh. Preparation of mechanical piping drawing of Valve station, offtake valve station, scraper trap station, city gate station by Auto Cad concern with high pressure gas transmission pipeline project. Preparation of Board paper, contract agreement, giving suggestion and supervision of the high-pressure gas pipeline construction work across plain, ditches, canal, ponds, rivers from Hatikumrul to Bheramara. Ensure quality of the welding during gas pipeline construction, making official correspondence with various international material manufacturer organization and national gas pipeline construction contractor in order to completion of work smoothly and properly. Preparation of Material Issuance Vouture (MIV) to issue various pipeline material, valves, fittings, elbow, bends, flanges, gasket, blind flanges, insulating joints, pig receiver, pig launcher, insulating cradles, tee, reducing tee, 30” dia 14.3 mm WT, API 5L X603LPE LSAW PSL2 line pipe, 30” dia API 5LX603LPE CWC coated line pipe, 36” dia API 5LX60 FBE coated pipe, 30” dia15.9 mm WT 3LPE bare pipe etc. Simultaneously I was engaged with preparation of Bid documents for 30”X1800 meter giant Padma river crossing with other five small rivers (not more than 500meter bank to bank width) crossings works by high pressure natural gas transmission pipeline under this project. Preparation of bid documents, published bid, evaluation work, making evaluation report, sending it to Company’s board for approval, sending it to Asian Development Bank (ADB), Dhaka, Bangladesh for collecting their no-objection. And after obtaining no-objection then issuance of Notification of Award (NOA) to the Bidder due to Signing the Contract and implementation of the work. Quality checking of welding during construction, quality checking of various equipment like pipeline materials, fittings, like valves, bend, line pipe, regulator, meter, flow control valve, flanges, gasket etc.

1.5 Previous working experience as a “Shift in Charge”

(From 2004-2007)

Having working experience as a shift in charge of City gate station in Chittagong under GTCL, responsible of operational and maintenance activities of large gas plant, there were filtering, separating, flow control, heating, metering facilities in the plant. Controlling subordinates, preparation of daily/monthly gas flow report, implementing shifting duty schedule to operate smoothly. Also worked as shift in charge in SCADA control Centre to operate and supervise overall national gas grid line and daily operational gas flow report over the country.

I was also engaged with maintenance of compressor used in the Testing Lab due to reserve high pressure compressed air in the air reservoir tank. I was also responsible for implementing safety in every steps of Radiographic works as well as Preparing Emergency Response Plan, radiographic working procedure, quality assurance management, conducted NDT works with the help of NDT team of the department.
