Dear Economic Development Authority,
Iam writing on behalf of Vitus Susaia who has applied for the job as
a Loan Analyst. As an Associate Professor at Hawaii Loa College, I have
known Vitus as a student since about 1982 when he took Principles of
Economics from me. He has alse taken Critical Thinking and Problem
Solving; Income, Employment, & Prices; Public Finance: Price Theory;
Economic Development; Applied Econometrics; and Senior Seminar from me
during the next several years of his study at Hawaii Loa. Vitus is a
diligent worker who will always do the best he can, He did reasonably well
in his studies and was about in the middle of the class in terms of grades
(at least in my courses). Since he was a "foreign" student competing with
native Americans, this is quite an accomplishment. And as he took more
advanced courses, he usualiy did a little better. 1 Saw this as a maturing
as he got more used to the expectations of a college.
Io did see quite a bit of growth in Vitus as a person and when he left
Hawaii Loa to return to Pohnpei, I knew that he would be able to contribute
to the development of the FSM, He was always interested in being able to
@ of service to his country.
Iam glad that he has done well as a Loan Officer and I am sure he
will be just as competent as a Loan Analyst. In short, I am pleased to be
able te recommend Vitus Susaia for the position of Loan Analyst with the
Economic Development Authority. If I can be of any further help to you,
please feel free to contact me at Hawaii Loa.
Sipcerely,
