DeVry University - Final Project Team Lead
Led the team in a project to develop an automated vacuum guided by ultrasonic range sensors, limit switches, and a micro-controller programmed in C and C+ language which had the ability to scan the room and chart a path.
The team was able to accomplish all tasks effectively and efficiently.
Refined leadership skills in delegating tasks.
Project was completed early.
Garwood Laboratories
Designed a Data Acquisition System wherein all chambers in the lab – including Temperature, Humidity, Altitude, Explosive Atmosphere and IPX chambers - could be monitored from one single location in the lab or from a single remote location with a keycode password. Furthermore, the system was continuously recording data while automatically populating excel files - ensuring data was never lost and could easily be retrieved and analyzed. The system proved to be more effective and efficient for both customers and the lab.
Designed a dynamic patch panel for the vibration lab. This enabled any controller to be used for any shaker.
Programmed the VR controllers to continuously record data and create plots reflecting any time intervals requested by customer… which were then backed up to the company server, backup server and hard drives and made available to customers at any time. This made the lab effective and efficient for both customer and the company.
