The Violet Project is dedicated to enhancing access to reproductive healthcare and education for youth in Maryland. As a patient volunteer, I engage with patients at the Johns Hopkins Hospital Emergency Department, discussing various topics such as menstruation, birth control, STI prevention, and more. As the Fundraising and Community Service Chair for the African Students Association, I organized the African Fashion Show and Basket Auction Gala. The proceeds from this event were donated to the United to Beat Malaria fund. As the Vice President of the Arab Student Union, I organized a henna fundraiser to support earthquake relief efforts in Libya and Morocco.

Student Advocates for Low-income Health raises funds to purchase hygiene supplies for kits distributed to homeless shelters in Baltimore. As a pod leader for the past two years, I have been responsible for creating kits tailored to the needs of a specific shelter, The Well, a women's shelter that supports abuse victims in gaining independence and life skills. I will be serving as the upcoming Fundraising Chair.
