Ascertain, Review/ Check and Recommend for PM/Team Leaders approval of the contractors Quality Control Program based on the DPWH standard specifications and Minimum Testing Requirement.

Demonstrate to the contractor’s quality control team the significance and operation of testing and the testing laboratory work plan respectively including safety aspect during operation.

Checked and ensure laboratory equipments supplied are adequate, standards and properly calibrated so that progress of work will not be impeded by laboratory testing, and that non-performance of tests should not be cause of delay in the prosecution of work.

Survey source and assess the suitability and availability of materials.

Check/evaluate various Design mix, job mix formula (JMF) sampling and testing of materials in-place or to be placed in the project and ensures that everything is within project various parameters, and recommends to Project Manager/ Resident Engineer for approval/disapproval.

Coordinate with the involve parties regarding any defective works found and issue Site Instruction for corrective measures to be undertaken based on the specification and approved work statement.

Maintain proper and complete records of all test performed and defects noted corrected as reference for inspection anytime.

Checked and submit within required period the Certificate of Quality Control Assurance.
