DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect both the Temporary and the Permanent Works, including delivered Materials, in order to verify implementation of the method statements, ITPs and Quality Control procedures.
• Reports to Quality Manager on all issues affecting quality control and assurance
• Prepares monthly Quality Status Report
• Witness Inspections and Tests on Site
• Issuance, review and follow-up of Non Conformity Reports
• Management and Follow-Up of Client’s complaints (Non-compliance)
• Closing of NCRs
• Prepares Daily Pouring Monitoring.
• Monitors progress of the works.
• Coordinates with the Site Engineer regarding the comments to be rectified and give proper suggestion for immediate rectification and some problems that needs coordination with the consultant for the proper execution of the particular activity.
• Ensures up to date copy of approved drawings and specifications are available at site during inspection and review if there is any revision.
• Raise Non-conformance Report when a deficiency is found. Recommends corrective and preventive actions. Possible solutions to the problems being encountered at site to the chief engineer and construction manager.
• Inspection of materials used in the construction as per approved Material Approval Request
(MAR), Civil, Structural and Architectural works materials.
• Coordinate Inspection release with the client’s representative.
• Prepares Daily Inspection Report.
• Attend weekly coordination meeting with production and subcontractor.
• Conduct inspection of installation/fabrication in accordance to approved shop drawings.
• Implement proper documentation of every inspection conducted and ensure that all Inspection and Testing Plan (ITP) are properly filed including attached checklist, approved drawings, test results, etc.
• Witness and review testing such as, NDT, pull out test, wet film thickness and dry film thickness for painting, for backfilling such as field density test, plate load test. Inspects road works such as laying, in-situ density, coring Test of asphalt bituminous course from base to wearing.
• Prepare Quality Record Package Listing (QRPL) to be submitted to client’s representative for project hand over.
• Conducting Final Inspection / Punch listing and snag listing prior to project hand over by using SnagRweb.com

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspects and monitors progress of construction from civil to architectural works as per inspection test plan, project specification, approved drawings, method statement, site instruction and material submittal.
• Inform site engineers immediately for any comments for further action, any major comments inform to QCM immediately.
• Attend weekly coordination meeting with production and subcontractor.
• Prepare daily report and snagging list of the completed structure for preparation in the finishing stage.
• Make sure that any non-conformity has been reported through a Non Conformance Report (NCR). All NCRs shall be coordinated with the Senior Quality Assurance Engineer.
• Attend to various testing of materials and workmanship and test all material and works installed pass the standards and specifications.
• Review and approval of Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) as submitted by Contractor and ensure its compliance with all contract requirements. Ensure all Quality Control Records are kept up to date & filed.
• Review and approval of Materials, related to discipline, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and submitted as per approved Project Construction schedule.
• Conduct inspection for structural steel erection, from fabrication to final painting. And submit for Final Structural Fabrication and Field Dossier.
• Regular visits to Project site to ensure quality of work is in compliance with contract requirements, good construction practice, only approved materials are used, compliance with shop drawings, and report any deviations to Construction Manage.
• Work as a coating inspector ensures that all the procedures indicated in the method statement and the manufacturer instructions on their product literature has been followed.
• Conduct material inspection and prepare reports, insure material submittal approved, No defects, fabrication documents, expiration date of the materials, point of origin of the Materials and as per approved shop drawing. Regular spot checks of material delivered to site, related to discipline, and direct the relevant Inspector/ Engineer to continue inspection of stored materials on site to ensure it is as per approved materials and in good condition.
• Make sure that CONTRACTOR has submitted the Method Statement (MS), Quality Control Procedure (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) prior to starting the relevant activity. Inspection & Test Plans and other Quality Verification Forms address all necessary information outlined in the project specification or in the Manufacturer recommendations.
