Resume:

Retired from *M after ** years of service.

Last position at 3M: Manufacturing Sr. Specialist

I have worked 29 years in the field of extrusion and over 14 years in multi-layer extrusion. This included designing, installing, and commissioning two production lines, one in 3M Hutchinson, MN and the second in 3M Gorseinon, Wales. I assisted both lines in resolving manufacturing issues and was regarded as one of the experts in elastics coextrusion. I presented research at the 1997 Global Melt Symposium, co-authored a paper at the 2000 Global Melt Symposium, presented at 3M New Extrusion Lines Net Conference, and presented at the 3M Co-extrusion Fundamentals Seminar.

I have proven skills in: Statistical analysis (DOE, RSM, Statistical Process Control), Green Belt Trained – lead Six Sigma projects, and been a team member on other Six Sigma projects.

I am motivated by continuously learning. I have taken graduate level courses in Statistics from Iowa State University. I purposely changed jobs to experience different technologies in multi-layered film extrusion and hot melt coatings. I have strong problem solving and interpersonal skills. I enjoy solving problems through using the tools I have been taught by others and try to pass on these skills to others that I work with.
