Nov 2015 – Present

-Manage, set direction, implement, facilitate, and administer the Kirchhoff Automotive Production System (KAPS) programs and initiatives at the plant.

-Involve all employees into the KAPS programs utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods and strategies to align with Global Management.

-Promote and ensure a safe, clean and comfortable working environment that complements EH&S by ensuring 5S discipline are supported and adhered to.

-Coordinate the national KAPS deployment strategy, planning and implementation processes.

-Establish transparent communication throughout the plant at all levels utilizing Shop Floor Management method.

-Led, developed, and trained Non Destructive Testing process and procedure to reduce scrapping cost of the Acura RDX, Acura TL, and Accord. Estimated $800,000 during the 1st year and up to $12 millions by 4th year.

-Oversaw Ultrasonic Testing programming, training, and equipment control.

-Controlled budget and spare parts for NDT up to $120,000 annually.

-Tested new materials and stack-up thicknesses to determine welding parameters.

-Improved weldability issues based on vehicle body teardown results. Achieved 98% overall good weld.

-Analyzed NDT data to improve operator skill.
