January - March 1999: Industrial Engineering Analyst for Ternium S.A. (Arg) at Ensenada mill. Responsibilities: Operational results reports, continuous lay out improvements, time and productivity calculations.

June 1999 - August 2002: Special Projects Development VP Assistant for Ternium S.A. Responsibilities: Project evaluations, steel market studies, steel technologies studies.

September 2002 – September 2003: Commercial Planning Specialist for Ternium S.A

October 2003 - October 2005 : Logistic Manager for Ternium S.A, Responsibilities: in charge of managing and contracting break bulk and containerized maritime transportation, inland logistics in US, European and LATAM markets, for flat steel exports, not limited to prepare and analyze shipping market and R&D reports.

November 2005 - December 2007: Logistic Manager for Ternium in USA. Responsibilities: responsible for all US inland supply chain management and transportation including warehouse management, contracting and management all inland logistics services (warehousing, rail, truck, stevedoring and transloading services) for imported steel into US from Ternium abroad mills (Arg, Mx, Vzla), also defining warehousing and logistics strategies targeting customer level services and cost reductions, implementing as well SAP (design and project implementations) across US locations.

Responsibilities: project evaluations and project management for ports logistics ops, warehousing ops, rail and truck transportation with focus on cost savings including inventory and asset control, representing Usiminas in technical Board Committee for a Rail Owned Company (MRS), project evaluation of terminals/ warehouses acquisitions/ sales within other logistics projects. Responsible for Export Shipping Department contracting and management all outbound maritime transportation as well as global inland and port logistics. In addition responsible for Scheduling Engineering Dept, responsible to define and implement process improvements and models optimization for production lines scheduling, material allocation and production flow, developing in-house tools as well as evaluating market tools from third parties jointly with IT Department.
