Currently, employed with Cognizant Technologies, as QA Lead on a project for Delta Airlines. Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp is an American multinational corporation that provides custom information technology, consulting, and business process outsourcing services.

JOB PROFILE

QA Lead for ‘Air4’ project: Responsibilities include supporting the offshore team as an SME for the newly developing program & Airlines Test system (VSTerm) and liaising with the QA Leads / Business Analysts from Delta & Virgin and other QA leads / Developers from various other vendors engaged on this project.

Other tasks consist of involvement in the Smoke Testing of the ongoing development of the application software (SNAPP and AXIS)) including hardware (KIOSK). This also involves understanding the Business requirements involving daily interaction with the BA, QA and Solution Architects.

QA Lead for ‘Comfort+ as a Cabin’ project: Responsibilities include supporting the Channel testing teams as the Limited Integration Testing Lead for ‘Ready to Fly’ Release. Effective Nov. 14, 2015, Delta Comfort+™ is available as a fare for travel on/after May 16, 2016 within the U.S. 50 and Canada. As the QA Lead running the Limited Integration Testing phase and liaising with the QA Leads / Business Analysts from Delta Channels (Axis, Dotcom, RevPipe, BARTS, Ticketing, RebookMe, PCC) and other QA leads / Developers from various other vendors engaged on this project.

Other Projects currently working on as the QA Lead:

1.APIS PAXLIST 2010 - A new finalized PAXLIST 2010 'message set' with additional data elements was adopted jointly by the WCO, IATA and ICAO, in response to heightened security concerns within the air travel industry. Although WCO, IATA and ICAO introduced and agreed to adopt the new data elements as part of a new message, these items were deemed as optional until October 2014 when all member states unanimously deemed these data elements as mandatory and further, enforceable by Border Control Agencies. Delta currently transmits API passenger data to over 40 countries in a PAXLST 2003 format. Brazil is now requires API passenger data to be transmitted in PAXLST 2010 industry format. The new format includes additional data elements such as passenger seat and baggage details. This funding request also covers the additional countries that require PAXLIST 2010 format.

2.Premium Economy - Phase 1 - In 2017, Delta will begin accepting delivery of the new A350s which will have a physical Premium Economy (PE) cabin. Additionally, the product committee has recently approved plans to modify the 777 fleet to also include a physical PE cabin. To optimized sell of the new Premium Economy product, this project will enable "Mix and Match" itinerary sales as well as solution for the back-end and front-end work required to manage and sell Delta's new cabin. While the first PE flights won't takeoff until 2017, ideally this work would be completed prior to the new aircrafts being loaded in the schedule around 4Q16.

3.HR_Endeavor_Air_Upgrade - The proposed solution will put Endeavor Air Lawson HCM/PR compliant for support as well make environments Delta compatible.

Other tasks consist of involvement in coordinating with the Test Data Automation team to get PNR data created for the integration testing.

Was employed with IGT Solutions, a joint venture with Travelport Inc., as Lead Software Test Engineer / Lead Quality Analyst. The company is involved in the Development of Software in TPF and Open Systems for Travelport Inc. at Denver, CO

JOB PROFILE

Worked as the Sr. Quality Analyst with all the Travelport departments since Aug 2003, spanning a period of more than 12 years. Officially managed a team of 40 offshore team members that was the bulk of Travelport QA for all Line of Businesses that included the Agency Commerce (SmartPoint, Galileo Desktop, ViewTrip), Platform Services (XML, DIR), Air Commerce (ACH), Center of Excellence (Automated Regression, and VM Maintenance), and Hospitality (HCH) for both manual functional and automated regression testing.

At onsite was the QA POC for all Travelport Open Systems (Apollo, Galileo and WorldSpan) Pre-Prod loads and builds and also coordinated with Software Configuration and Release Management teams for all sorts of code builds and load approvals from QA.

Have been involved in QA estimation for all Platform Services projects and other line of business areas too before Travelport restructured itself. Also, worked with Business Analysts hand in hand to review and update Business / Technical Requirements of upcoming projects. Major projects during the 12-year tenure include:

Have also been involved in maintaining the Virtual Machine lab that Travelport has set up for Automation Regression.

Evaluated and supported application area project resource requirements, provide update/improvement recommendations to management. Manage software installations in Automated Regression VMware for Regression testing, and test suite setup. Oversee staffing and liaise between business clients and IT resources.

Other responsibilities included growth of onsite account for QA.

Analysis of regression results, validation of current GWS Regression test script coverage, identification and documentation of scripts that are failing, building XML test scripts in XML Spy, creating test cases and testing in XML Select 3.2, DIR / XML Pro, GWS Test Page, FocalPoint, ViewPoint, Kestrel, LCCP, RCH and ACH. Currently managing / co-ordinating an offshore QA team of 30 members, and onsite QA team of 5 members.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage staff, including module leads, in providing support for application areas in Open systems platform (Classic API).

Lead project teams, and co-ordinate with several stakeholders for PreProd loads including Development Project Managers, Release Management team, Web Services Infrastructure team, Test Environment team and Software Configuration team.

Conduct troubleshooting sessions with project teams, develop knowledge repository, and mentor offshore resources on new application areas.
