OBJECTIVE
To obtain a position that will fully utilize my broad experience in manufacturing this includes multi-level management, as well as opportunities for career advancement and continued learning through education and experience.
EXPERIENCE
Employer: TMK IPSCO
Dates: June 2012 – to present
Title: Finishing Dept. Manager (11/1/12 – 4/15/16)
Responsibilities and Accomplishments: Supervising the machine shop, hydro tester, coater and rework building including purchasing and inventory control. In my capacity, I have been able to improve cycle times on all CNC programs by eliminating unnecessary movements. We were able to increase productivity, decreasing time requirements by twenty (20) seconds on one program alone. Since being promoted to my current position in November of 2013 production in my dept. has increased approximately 10%. My previous position at TMK IPSCO (June 2012 – November 2013) was NDT Supervisor/Manager of the Non-Destructive Testing facility. During the 17 months that I held this position we were able to increase production by 40% and I obtained an NDT Level II status. I am currently working on my NDT Level III for MT, UT and MFL. Working in a management position with employees who are members of the United Steel Workers Union has been an invaluable learning experience. TMK relocated me to Houston, TX to run the Houston Ultra-Premium thread shop where I was laid off due to market as closing facility.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING
I have over thirteen (15) years of management experience and have been pursuing the field of
industrial machinist since I was a junior in High School in 1996. I’ve taken advantage of every
opportunity that’s been available to me to further my knowledge and education in this
profession. I am familiar with variations of three-, four-, and five- axis horizontal and vertical
CNC equipment as well as all forms of manual machining, including manual mills, lathes, Blanchard grinders,
surface grinders, E.D.M. machining centers, conventional and none-convention all machining
methods, welding and welding codes, LEAN manufacturing certification, and Six Sigma green belt
certification. I am also well versed in hydraulics and maintenance procedures on CNC machines
such as mills and lathes and pneumatics. I also believe in training and developing my team
members and associates to strive to reach their full potential both by example and instruction.
