Engineer Training

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

I am writing you to express my interest in the Engine Cadet position in your company. I am a fresh graduate from Constanta Maritime University -Faculty of Naval Electromechanics, General Electromechanics specialization.

I have been working for the last 7 years as corporal for the Romanian Army. I am a hardworking person used to work under pressure,willing to be trained, organized, determined and I can work with less supervision. I am highly dedicated, eager to learn in preparation for an officer engineer someday. Even I don't have any experience on ships, I can assure you that my qualities along with my achieved competencies will help me complete my duties.

I already have completed requirements including trainings like : Personal survival techniques, Basic fire-prevention and fire-fighting, Elementary First Aid, Personal safety and social responsibilities on board the ship, Transport and handling of dangerous, hazardous and harmful cargoes, Prevention of pollution of the marine environment MARPOL 73/78, Ship Security Awareness, Basic Training For Oil and Chemical Tanker, Basic Training for Liquefied Gas Tanker Cargo Operations. I've got also Passport, Seaman's Book and Certificate of Proficiency .
