Manufactured pressing and fixture tools, manufacturing layout boards, and molds to ease the manufacturing process.

Designed Wings by performing Aerodynamic calculation to find dimensions and material while considering plane weight, weight budget, engine specifications.

Designed Ailerons by performing Aerodynamic calculation and material analysis to meet the desired roll rate

Design of control system for the ailerons and the servo sizing

Composite material analysis using hand and MATLABS calculations

Manufactured the wing and ailerons design with hands on composite material and mold manufacturing

Wrote then performed testing procedures to test engine’s thrust, fuselage’s bending and tensile stress, tails’ and wings’ deflection, nose and landing gear’s bending and compression stress.

Placed 1st in the design competition out of 72 universities in the west coast
