CONTRACT AND SUBCONTRACT MANAGEMENT
o Managed a staff of 11 personnel, to include Asst. Contracts Mgr, Contract Specialists and administrators (FNs and LNs of Afghanistan);
o Reviewed all aspects of requests for proposal and conformity to contract to ensure minimum risk exposure;
o Managed over $50 Million in subcontracts in Afghanistan for construction, property/vehicles leases and other logistical support services to 7 Regional Training Centers throughout the country;
o Managed over $300 Million in outsourcing of telemarketing services (contract values ranged from $1-$50 million); Prepared, reviewed, evaluated proposals/bids through the use of price and/or cost analysis, conducted negotiations and determined if proposed costs were fair and reasonable in both the defense and telecommunication industries; In addition, chaired technical review boards to prepare vendor/supplier recommendations based on the inputs of the review board.
o Prepared internal documents, reviewed and negotiated terms and conditions for all major contracts, correlated all data and developed pricing for submission of proposal to customer in the defense industry;
o Administered and monitored all aspects of contract compliance, including cost during life of contract/purchase order.
o Acted as a liaison between customer and company;
o Responsible for all general administration from the time of the award through final invoice and contract closeout;
o Coordinated and negotiated termination of convenience and termination of default claims;
o Developed divisional FAR database to respond to terms and conditions;
o Drafted, updated and submitted departmental procedures for senior management review
INTERNATIONAL, SALES & MARKETING
o Established sales and OEM agreements with foreign sales agents and representatives;
o Provided pro-forma invoices (foreign quotes) and administered 35 foreign accounts with annual contracts amounting to $10 million.
o Administered and processed international documentation relative to oversea transactions, e.g. export licenses, letters of credit, sight drafts, export shipping declarations, for foreign sales;
o Key Spanish interpreter for Latin American communications;
o Liaison to foreign embassies and freight forwarders.
o Exceeded sales quota by 10% for an 8-state territory;
o Issued monthly sales report to top management;
o One of three key people to start-up new division, which after one year, generated $3 million in sales;
o Wrote and designed division’s product brochure outlining the product’s features and benefits;
o Established industry contacts which led to new business opportunities;
o Set up divisional marketing library
o Supervised market research clerk.
o Designed and developed market database files on companies, DoD programs and aircraft platforms for research and analysis;
o Instituted real-time distribution of aerospace periodicals via electronic media eliminating hard copy distribution;

o Managed the staffing of housekeeping personnel for 12 Macy’s Retail Stores in NY and CT
o Managed the office operations at Macy’s Herald Square’s Housekeeping Department, oversaw six supervisors and two clerical personnel and administered quarterly performance reviews of personnel;
o Revised and implemented a new work ticket program for housekeeping personnel;
o Planned the daily work schedules and work tickets for 120 housekeepers at Herald Square (3 shifts)
