I began my career working for a large non-profit designer of software
associated with the University of Colorado supervising the printing and
shipping operation that supported the universities publishing requirements.
Two years later I officially entered the printing trade as a sales
representative working for a small commercial printing company in Boulder,
Colorado.
As I learned the graphics and manufacturing trade I moved forward over the
next 25 years producing more complex and important projects. I mastered the
art of print manufacturing on a more complex scale and was selling,
supervising and producing over 13 million dollars in printing a year
resulting in substantial compensation brokering with a multitude of
manufacturers. I specialized in producing some of the finest high end color
printing projects in the country as well as working with some of the top
advertising agencies and corporations in the US.
I left the Printing Industry to do web development at a time when the
internet was in it's infancy. I specialize in SEO. I have been designing
and developing web content for 20 years and feel I could make a strong
contribution to both the design and marketing of any company.
I moved to Hawaii from Colorado and started building web sites and
fulfilled a dream I had of starting a Kayak Company I named NaPali Kayak
Tours http://napalikayak.com that provided tours of the the Na Pali Coast
on Kauai's remote north shore and is today regarded as one of the premier
tours in the world.
After 5 years I sold the company that by then had the distinction of being
regarded as the second best tour in America by National Geographic (the
Grand Canyon being number one). It was during this time that I obtained my
Hawaii Real Estate license and practiced Real Estate and Property
Management representing sales and rentals of high end accommodations for
visitors to the island and advertising them through a web site I created
called http://kauaivacation.com .
For personal reasons I moved to Stratford Connecticut and have in 2012
secured a Connecticut State Producers License to sell Life and Health
Insurance as well as Annuities. I still have an active Real Estate License
for Hawaii and have an in depth knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands, it's
nature and commercial aspects. Most recently I have joined Zoom Media as an
account executive marketing digital display advertising with Connecticut
being my territory.
I am well traveled, in excellent physical health, have thousands of hours
of training in sales and marketing and am highly regarded for my sales
skill set. I also have done some public speaking, trade show presentations
etc. and am comfortable working with executives of just about any size
business.
My sales philosophy is not to sell but to understand my clients needs,
advise solutions and secure the sale. I have excellent negotiating skills
and a proven track record in several industries.
