implementing a new HRIS using ADP’s Workforce Now. Created and implemented new job categories with qualification levels and

Global Director, HR and Administration
I established the HR, facilities, and administration functions for this spin-off of a joint development team from Hitachi and
STMicroelectronics. SuperH had locations in the U.S., U.K., and Japan with a global employee population of 175.
Developed and implemented compensation program with salary structure and job levels; selected and implemented
employee benefits plans including a 401k plan; developed performance management program based on “pay for
performance” model; training and development program for managers and employees; established staffing process,
employee stock option program, and other administration functions including facilities and the safety/security programs.
Manage a staff of 8 employees in three countries.
Influenced executive staff members from the parent companies: Japanese CEO, French COO, American CFO, British, VP
of Sales & Marketing, British VP of Software, Vietnamese VP of Engineering, and myself (American female with no
affiliation to the parent companies). Diverse company culture backgrounds and facilitated their transition into an effective,
cohesive team. My position reported to CEO with dotted line reporting to Board of Directors. Facilitated integration of
best practices from Hitachi and STMicroelectronics in the creation of the SuperH vision, mission, company values, and
corporate management philosophy and established an effective communications program. Facilitated strategic planning
sessions developing plan to meet company business goals.
Sourced and managed the relocation of the San Jose headquarters and Bristol, U.K facilities. Relocations included
purchasing all furnishings, equipment, and telecom systems. Relocation was completed on time and within budget.
Planned and executed company restructuring reducing workforce by 60%. Company acquired by Renesas in 2004.
