As a person I am outgoing, fun loving and upbeat, I constantly push myself to achieve
more, always reaching both professional and personal goals. I enjoy helping and
supporting people, always going the extra mile whether it is at work, (volunteering to
help a co worker) or just cheering people up. I am currently looking for a new
challenge that involves hands on work and problem solving as I would like to begin
laying the pathway towards a long term career.
Communication Skills
As a trained as a peer counsellor I have valuable mediation skills that I use in everyday
life and find are appreciated by my friends and family. I have a polite, laid back attitude
and never let problems over take me as I choose to look at things rationally and try to
use reason. I also have developed excellent influencing skills which I have learned to
use via natural confidence and an approachable and trustworthy manner. When
working at Asda I was the first colleague in my department to score 100% on a mystery
shopper customer service quality audit and received an award for this.
Organisational Skills
I like to stay organised within my working environment and have a confident approach
to new challenges. I like to see myself as a positive person and a good leader among my
peers. I have also done basic administrator training.
Team Skills
I am enthusiastic in all I do and love to learn I always motivate those I work with.
I thrive under pressure and in positions of responsibility and have a strong work ethic
when it comes to customer service and working hard to achieve the company goals.
Work Summary:
Field sales/Service Engineer/Self –Employed Contractor – September 2009 –
current
From September 2009 until current day I have been working self employed on various
projects of interest to me and setting up small businesses. These range from consulting
on various projects in the food and leisure industry regarding setting up new businesses
or rebranding of existing ones to setting up a local outdoor go karting track and helping
create the advertising campaign. As well as working with a local company as a field
sales advisor to help generate business for the locally produced wines and spirits they
were bringing to the market.
In the last year I have chosen to pursue more of my fields of interest in technology and
problem solving part of this was being taken on by a Dyson contractor as a self
employed service engineer. These involved me attending appointments at clients houses
to service and resolve any issues with the machines as well as taking broken machines
and reconditioning them to then be resold. I enjoyed this greatly and have decided to
pursue a career more involved in my field of interest.
