DISSERTATION:
The topic of my dissertation was "Understanding Consumer Perceptions of
luxury brands and Factors influencing their Purchase Intention". The
research was a primary research and data was collected for identifying such
factors for the consumers of Bangalore in India and were analyzed using
SPSS.
The motive of the research work was to understand the various perceptions
of consumers when it comes to a luxury brand by taking few brands. Another
objective of the research work was to understand the various factors taken
into consideration by a consumer, when it comes to buying these luxury
brands. These Consumer purchase intentions factors were notable and
categorized into 5 factors mainly: Conspicuous Consumption, Social,
Individual (Self-Extended), Hedonism and Quality.

Job Responsibilities: Worked as an intern in the business development
department of the company & assisted in various real time projects
revolving around various business fields of the company. The scope of work
included helping the team in developing competitor analysis, caselets for
new business areas of the company, Mergers & Acquisitions and certain
applications of Thermotechnology. Also did competitor analysis for the
HVAC industry in India.
