CMG, Inc.: parent company for Crowley Transportation Services LLC (provider
of professional transportation staffing needs), StoneBear Management LLC
(property/leasing company), and Firehouse Learning LLC (educational
software distributor).
Recruited as #2 in command with CFO/COO responsibilities, including full
charge of finance/accounting, operations, sales/marketing, and
administration. Manage P&L for 4 wholly owned business units. Perform month-
end close and present quarterly financial reviews to the Board of
Directors. Supervise team of 5 direct reports.
. Orchestrated company-wide efforts that fueled company growth from $4M
(2009) to $13M in revenue (2013), driving 325% increase and positioning
company to divest of a division. Improved gross profit while reducing
operational and labor costs.
. Turned around Crowley Transportation Services, which was acquired by
publicly traded True Blue, Inc.
. Upon hire, immediately identified and rectified internal theft of $120K
