Material Planner / buyer

Responsibilities:

Release weekly purchase release and forecast for raw material to meet production requirements.

Communicate with suppliers ( some of them - for extrudate material Specta, Hydro, Canart, for glass cardinal, Guardian, ppg, sand, For vinyl vision extrusion) to schedule the materials delivery on time, coordinate with suppliers regarding the ramp up/down, build out schedule as necessary.

Monitor the work order schedule and notify customer service team and operation team of potential problems in meeting demands due to material shortages, late deliveries and production capacity issues, minimize occurrence of production shut down.

Manage cycle count and inventory reconciliation process to maintain high levels of inventory accuracy.

Manage sub-contractors on a daily basis to make sure the finished parts are back on time for shipment to the customer.

Perform inventory control, communicate and coordinate with Production, Shipping, Sales and Finance to control exposure of products being discontinued.

Continuously monitor forecasted demands against historical usage to identify issues, trends and recommend quarterly min/max level of raw material and set it up in Plex based on customer consumption behaviors.

Monitor inventory stock levels by checking Kanban and ordering materials.

Minimize excess and obsolete stock.

Maintain inventory by conducting weekly Kanban count, quarterly physical Inventory count.

Maintain and enforce standards of health, safety, hygiene and security.

Production scheduler

Responsibilities:

Implement and manage production schedules.

Coordinate and adjust schedules to increase productivity and monitor staff progress.

Ensure that production targets were being exceeded, proactively directed scheduling changes to reduce encapsulation gel machine down time, and conducted plant tours to audit conditions.

Communicate plant performance addressing compliance, safety, equipment, scheduling, and operations performance internally on a regular basis.

Prepare production reports, determined and implemented improvements to production process.

Ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments including procurement, distribution, and management.

Customer Service

Responsibilities:

Accept and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Explain technical matters to non-mechanical individuals, including customers, in an easily comprehendible manner.

Work out order process planning and schedule for timely execution (working with ACCPAC).

Responsible for keeping track of raw materials, semi - finished & finished products.

Consistently monitoring inventory level & production flow sequence.

Prepare documents for monthly quality review for management.
