Description:

This project involves Surveying of electrical network (Substations, Distribution Transformers, HT and LT Poles) assets, surveying of exact location of electrical network’s assets by using DGPS, collecting Image for Individual transformers, Surveying of Consumers and finally conversion of entire electrical network by using ArcGIS in shape file format.

Responsibility:

My responsibility is updating and Existing Data, Interacts and collects the data’s from the field officer of TNEB.

Description:

To create the Network Information System for the cable TV Network of Comcast. The Source data (Auto CAD file) is received from Client and it is converted in off-line database using Spatial info tool and then the conversion process is started in Spatial info based on specification provided by client.

Responsibility:

My responsibility is to perform a Quality inspection in a Pilot Team.

Software used: AutoCAD 2009, Spatial info (Customized tool of AutoCAD linked with Oracle database), MS office

Project: Qwest Telecommunication, USA

Description:

Scope of project is to create GIS data(OSP Network) for Qwest Telecommunication, There are Two major Process involved in this Project, Namely “Land Base Conversion” and “OSP-FM Conversion”. The Source data (Scanned raster) is received from Client through CIMAGE and it is converted in on-line database using OSP-FM tool. Initial Process of project is to create a Land base for the required Wire center using AutoCAD 2009. Input for the land base process is received in the form of Shape file (AutoCAD Supported format) and it is delivered to Client in the form of GINA file, We are using web-based tool USGS (United States Geological Survey) for reference in Land base process. For the QAG purpose we are Using Google Earth Pro (which allows to import the created shape file) once the Land base process is accepted then it is imported to OSP-FM, and then the conversion process is started in OSP-FM based on specification provided by client through DCRB & Validation List.

Responsibility:

My responsibility is to perform a Quality inspection of the data before it is delivered to the client.

Software used: AutoCAD, OSP-FM & CIMAGE/JDS

Project : AT&T (American Telephone and Telegraph, USA)

Description:

The scope of the project is to clear the Existing Engineering Data provided by client and to post the backlog work orders, Telecom project involves the data conversion of the project and cleaning up the errors in the specialized tool. This is an online project in which the working platform is in OptiNT (AutoCAD 2005customized) tool for South West North and East Location of US

Responsibility

My responsibility is to trainee the newly joined Engineers and to the engineers moving from one project to another and to certify that the engineers are qualified for the productions.

Project : BEWAG (Berlin Electrical Works AG, Germany)

Description:

To create the Network Information System for the Electrical Network of Berlin, Germany. Vectorization of the raster data provided by the customer using Microstation & PARIS Software. Involves data capturing & Quality check. Capturing electrical cable networks like high voltage, mid voltage, low voltage, information cables, Distribution boxes, Power stations, station, substation, lamps, Traffic signals etc., the major part of this project is to analyzing real cable networking of Berlin from 1920 to till date. Client has given the inputs like Tiff images, overview dgn’s of low voltage and RSP for mid voltage.

Responsibility

My responsibility is dealing with the Dispatched Error cases that, are marked by Client

Software used: Microstation J 7.1, PARIS (Parametric Ruled Information System) a Customized tool of Microstation linked with Oracle database.
