Jun 2015 -
Oct 2015
Graduate Technical Intern
Rockwell Collins, Systems Engineering
Constructed the PSS (stand-alone passenger services system) and the PES (passenger entertainment system)
•
• Performed trouble-shooting and testing of the systems and documented their results Jun 2013 -
Sep 2013
Undergraduate Technical Intern
GoAir India Ltd, Quality Control
Successfully performed root cause analysis on Pilot Defect Reports (PDR) and suggested logistical solutions to flaws and defects reported in airplane systems and devices
•
Studied and reviewed the avionics systems such as Instrumentation and Landing System, Autopilot systems, FADEC (Full Authority Digital Engine Control), Flight Management and Guidance Computers, etc.

Education
Aug 2014 -
Dec 2016
California State University, Long Beach
• Master of Science, Electrical Engineering
Aug 2010 -
Aug 2014
University of Mumbai
• Bachelor of Engineering, Instrumentation and Controls Projects
Performance Enhancement of Wireless Sensor Networks Using Codes for an Optimized Complex Field Network
Successfully enhanced the performance and efficiency of a Wireless Sensor Network using Complex Field Network-Coded (CFNC) relay-assisted communications. Non-orthogonal channels were used to operate these CFNC relay-assisted communications to provide both temporal and spatial diversity.
•
Hand Gesture Controlled Robot
Successfully constructed and simulated the controls of a robot using hand gestures. A hand- held sensor device (accelerometer) captured the gestures and transmitted them through the RF module to the robot. These generated signals transmitted to the robot gave appropriate commands to the robot's motor driver. Subsequently, the robot was simulated in accordance to the hand gestures
•
Bluetooth Controlled Arduino Robot
Successfully constructed and simulated the controls of a robot using an Arduino Microcontroller. A Bluetooth application of a smartphone captured the images of gestures and transmitted them through a Bluetooth Transmission module to the robot. These generated signals transmitted to the robot gave appropriate commands to the robot's motor driver. Subsequently, the robot was simulated in accordance to the inputs to the smartphone's Bluetooth application.
•
Water Level Controller
Successfully implemented an easy and an economic method to indicate whether the water level in a pump/reservoir is low. This method could automatically switch ON and OFF the domestic water pump depending on the water level in the pump/reservoir.
