• Task-DESIGNING A FIXTURE (able to withstand 2000lb) using Part design and assembly in software’s like Auto-Cad (BOM, Drafting & Pro-E (CREO)-Assembly.Also learnt shortcuts to design parts as to meet the deadline.

• The task assigned to me was the DESIGN Fixture Should Tilt as well as rotate which was new and we could design the model successfully by using the idea of designing a Hydraulic cylinder, rotation motor at the bottom and submitted the project report (Used Hydraulic cylinder and rotating motor for the implementation)

• Worked on the Time study of Instrument panel assembly in order to solve the problem of extra floor-inventory at FORD for Faurecia IP which was proved that it wasn’t required as I have found few causalities and delays in their Triger processing routine which could be avoided, As Ford need Inventory spaces for outsourced products.

• Studied the movement of the material and timing. I also learned how FORD assembly line works, Also had a visit to all the departments, forming Body Shop, paint shop, Assembly line and testing. Was a detailed time spent asking question of mine to the professionals and interacting.

• I also was interacting with design engineer’s during my internship and helped them with small tasks like reviewing the model designed as per the dimensions in the blue print and find glitches indeed helped me to learn how they work or follow procedure.

• Worked on Crash test computer model of Car/Truck like Frontal crash, Roof crash and a Car to Car Crash which helped me to learn LS-Dyna(PREPOST). This helped me to implement it effectively in the working environment.

• worked and involved on the project Analysis CLEVIS-BOLT Joint in different Conditions like Material, Different Draft angle and element size to understand the Manufacturing Process Mechanism.

• The given task was completed and results have been compared with the initially given specifications and presented. This has helped to me learn meshing and assigning load collectors (abaqus)hypermesh through the process using basics of FEM&DFEMA

• We tested the joint connecting to the end of Hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders with different draft angle and Materials to show various results

Competitions: Participated in NGKC (National Go-kart Championship) was the part of initial design group(CREO-Solidworks), cost estimation and presentation. We Secured 12th place in our state. Was helpful in learning Team work and Co-ordination. Oct-2014
