While there was a gap in work due to starting a family, I was a photographer for about 3 years. I began my experience working for Lifetouch and then moved on to Picture People. Being a photographer involved having to think on your feet, as well as consulting with the clients making sure all of their needs were being met. This experience taught me to trust my instincts and how to interact with many different clients making sure they all left satisfied.

With Blockbuster being one of my first jobs, I learned a lot about multi-tasking, dealing with customers, and handling the cash registers as well as the phones. I had many responsibilities and learned to manage them all during my shifts. I was laid off when the company unfortunately went out of business.

I attended COD part-time from fall of 2009 until spring of 2014. I received my Associate's Degree graduating with honors with a 3.6 GPA.
