What's there to know about me?

How about I first clue you in on some basic information.

I'm currently a sophomore at Creighton University in Omaha, NE. While I'm an Iowa native, a love for volleyball and a passion for journalism brought me to Nebraska.

So what am I doing here at Creighton? You guessed it, playing volleyball and majoring in journalism. I play outside hitter for the Jays as a 6-rotation player and wear the number 15 on my back. Public Relations is my chosen track of interest with an added benefit of marketing knowledge, as I have chosen to minor in business as well.

While the life of a student-athlete may be overwhelmingly time consuming and hectic, I still have time for the things that are most important to me: friends and family. For small-town Iowa, we had a big-time family (in my opinion). A supporting mother and father, two high-achieving older sisters and a Labrador is what I grew up with.

Not only have I been blessed with an amazing family, I've also been granted the gift of great friends. Throughout grade school, summer camps, high school sports and Creighton volleyball, I have made some of the best friends a girl could ask for.
