Machinist for Remains Lighting (11/05 7/06): Created custom jigs and machines to aid
in fabrication of handmade, high-end lighting. Prototyped new designs, worked out

Designed/built nest-like window seat for a private residence, Greensboro VT.
Designed/built a stick sculpture for DC Greens at the Stoddert Elementary, DC.

Technician Responsibilities
Supervised studios (painting, photography, printmaking, and sculpture) to ensure both
safe practices in art making and safe handling and storage of materials.
Supervised student studio monitors (held the sculpture studio monitor position, 2001-
2003).
Maintained and repaired equipment in all studios (metalwork, woodwork, oil and acrylic
painting, B&W and color photo printing, etching, engraving, aquatint, and silkscreen).
Designed and built steel and wood worktables, stands, shelves, material dispensers, and
replacement parts for outdated machinery.
