PROJECTS

Obstacle Detection System December 2009-April 2010

An obstacle detection system was developed to improve visually impaired person’s mobility.

User moving in their environment can be alerted of obstacles in range. C programming was used to

code the logic which was then converted to assembly language to process the data received by the

receiver and alert the user.

Design of a Network Simulator January 2011-April 2011

An application was developed using matlab to solve electrical circuits where the user can perform both frequency and time domain analysis for any given netlist.

Customer Churn Prediction using Data mining algorithms May 2011-August 2011

Implemented a system using various data mining algorithms such as decision trees to predict the likelihood of a cable customer leaving the company.

Windows Forms based Drawing Application using C# May 2011-August 2011

A drawing application was developed which lets the user draw various objects of different color and size onto the form with other functionalities such as resizing, copying, pasting, deleting etc.

Simulation of an Optical illusion using C# May 2011-August 2011

A fun optical illusion application which demonstrates the Fitts law was developed. The objective was to obtain a graph which illustrates the speed/accuracy tradeoff in this user interface application.

Ceridian Corporation, Toronto, Canada

Application Engineer (December 2011- Present)

Coordinated with clients to identify required enhancements and process changes to their Ceridian HCM solution. Analyzed clients HR management, Time and attendance, payroll and other business rules documents in order to configure or integrate these requirements into the application. Resolved issues between various application integration points such as HR(Dayforce) and payroll(Insync, PowerPay etc). Responsible for dealing with clients (Senior level HR Managers and Directors) in order to provide them with alternative solutions to their existing configuration and overall best practices to achieve product satisfaction Acted as a part of a strong technical backbone that supported senior consultants with their implementation endeavors by imparting them with technical application knowledge. Designed, developed and tested several software applications using .NET technologies in order to optimize and simplify the internal application integration procedures and support processes.
