Bethel Baptist Church, Cary, NC
Senior Pastor: 2007 2011. Responsible for weekly preaching in two Sunday services and
Wednesday. Supervised office staff daily. Led monthly administrative and deacon board meetings.
Regularly visited church families, hospital sick and home-bound. Participated with church members
in community outreach initiatives as well as on and off-site church events and functions. Expanded a
tightly-centered leadership to involve a broader base of ministry stakeholders, encouraging a
greater sense of individual ownership in ministry. Recruited, hired and trained new youth pastor
and secretary. Worked to build up lagging evangelism and outreach initiatives and reinvigorated
Sunday School program.
Open Door Baptist Church, Clermont, FL
Associate Pastor: 2004 2006. Accountable for all media and communications ministries including
advertising, in-service audio/visual, collateral and website. Responsible for the development of
Sunday-night training and outreach programs with related tasks. Planned, presented and influenced
all decisions associated with visual creative, communications and media. Also served as Youth
Pastor shepherding teen group with all associated duties.
Key Accomplishments: Implemented Sunday-night discipleship program. Established visitation program,
church-wide evangelism training and outreach events. Executed new print collateral and website; planned
and launched new ad campaign. Revitalized youth program adding activities, establishing standards
and growing attendance.

Sr. Account Manager, Promotions - Domestic Field Marketing: 2000 2004. Managed strategic and
creative development of all field marketing promotions with domestic TV, radio, print and web partners.
Key Accomplishments: Organized on-going task force to re-define creative development process.

Account Manager, Advertising - Yellow Shoes Creative Group: 1995 2000. Accounts included
Tourist and Resident Segments, Disney-MGM Studios Brand, Walt Disney World Brand. Responsible
to lead creative and media teams in every level of strategic and creative development. Initiated
project direction, built relationships with partners, allocated budgets and resources, evaluated and
prioritized multiple project related tasks. Developed, presented and influenced decisions regarding
creative and media recommendations.
Key Accomplishments: Developed and launched extensive new Ticket-man campaign in the Central
Florida market. Key contact in the development of a major, new advertising contract with Orlando Interna-
tional Airport. Led the annual Communications Planning efforts for the Central Florida Segment team, with
an annual budget in excess of $20 million. Championed new media opportunities including In-room TV
Expansion, Commercial Insertion, etc. Managed numerous cross-functional relationships with internal and
external departments and vendors.
Anson-Stoner Inc. Advertising, Winter Park, FL 1992-1995
Account Executive - Pizza Hut, Mid-South Franchise Co-ops. Supervised and coordinated all
advertising efforts for 15 Mid-South Co-ops (over 350 stores) in Arkansas, Mississippi, Alabama,
Tennessee and Louisiana. Led teams through all facets of creative development and media
placement. Managed annual advertising budgets in excess of $4.5 million. Planned and implemented
new product introductions, premiums, special events as well as media barter/stretch promotions.
Developed annual co-op cash ows, marketing and media plans. Organized and conducted
quarterly, regional co-op meetings, led agency presentations.
