Objective

The objective is continuing my learning in software techniques and procedures using System Development Logic Cycle

(SDLC) methodology. Enterprise Architectural software development using technology using Simple Object Access Protocol

(SOAP), Business Processing Language (BPEL), Representational State Transfer (REST), Web Application Description

Language (WADL), Resource Orientated Computing (ROC), Service Orientated Architecture (SOA), and many other current

State of the Art Application Developers.

The desire to become more efficient in my Project Management skills learned under my IT Master along with specialized

and Equipment Tracking.

In 1999 we converted from FoxPro 2.5 to Visual FoxPro 5.0 to meet the requirements for Y2K.

Visual FoxPro Software Engineer 2001-2002

Los Angeles County Fire Department / City of Commerce, CA

Maintained and provided support existing Accounting Application (SBT) running under FoxPro 2.5 DOS.

Performed a documentation and computer help desk training

The billing application was customized to maintain the billing information for businesses that fell into the category of

HAZMAT, HAZWASTE, etc.

Created menus with custom reports using Visual FoxPro.

FoxPro / Visual FoxPro Software Engineer 1996-2001

County of Los Angeles DPSS / Software Support for the Welfare Dept. / Downey, CA

The function of this contract was to perform the following: (1) Help support the current and active application that

was being used within the Welfare District Offices, (2) to create custom applications to help in the reporting of

statistical information and database queries DBMS, (3) to give advise and educate existing management on

recommended enhancements to the current applications. These functions were performed under FoxPro 2.5 for DOS

and Visual FoxPro 5.0, using software applications like Norton Utilities, Carbon Copy, Colorado Backup, Micro

Menu, Corel WordPerfect, and many other applications for support and development.

I was responsible for developing and maintaining various county applications: Vendor Payments repairs and

enhancements for Monthly Management Reports were written using FoxPro DOS and Visual FoxPro. The

management tools were designed to run under DOS and Windows.

Developed technical support software to help in the documentation of the current WISE application used by the

county of Los Angeles, this application was written in HTML and JavaScript. Involved with software and hardware

support with the District Offices for DPSS.

FoxPro / Visual FoxPro Software Engineer 1992-2001

Developed and documented a Pet Cemetery Billing Application that was created to perform Account Receivables,

Payables, Ledger, and Plot Tracking.

The software was written originally using Clipper/87 and converted to FoxPro in the 90 s. In 1999 it was rewritten to

Visual FoxPro 5.0.

FoxPro Windows Software Engineer 1994-1996

County of Los Angeles / City Clerk (Tax Revenue) / Los Angeles, CA

Tax Revenue Billing Application for the City of Los Angeles. My function was to implement a system that would

parallel the current billing system as well reliable source of tracking and billing under a Windows 95 and FoxPro 2.6

for Windows.

The data that was collected on businesses through utility companies, escrow offices, and many other locations; was

processed by merging and purging into an existing database DBMS . The processed data was used to help in finding

outstanding businesses that had not paid business licenses to the City of Los Angeles.

FoxPro Windows Software Engineer 1992-1996

Renzi Clothing / Clothing Design and Billing

Developed an application that would take orders for clothing sales and create all the necessary documents for the

accounting and inventory control. This same application was capable of maintaining current sales and creates new

potential sales for telemarketing purposes.

The software was written originally under FoxPro 2.5 for DOS and upgraded to Visual FoxPro 3.0 for Windows. My

function was to design, program, and document all aspects of this application. A telemarketing system also written

for this same company to track their sales people s job performance and leads, this package was written under Visual

FoxPro 3.0. The software is running under a network environment using MS LAN under Windows 3.11 on all the

user systems.
