1990 till present.
Computer Repair Technician.
Installation of networked, computer hardware and software, including work on
Windows 98/2000/XP, Macintosh and Alpha VMS operating systems/Hardware. Worked with Novell Netware, Windows,
and Macintosh/Apple networking. Assisting
clients with interpreting problems and providing alternative solutions. Work included assisting clients with
Microsoft Office Suite applications, internet access and internet tools such as
E-mail, Telnet, Fetch, FTP and web publishing. Tasks have included working individually and as a team in an
Academic Computing Support area. Knowledge of information systems processes,
information databases such as Microsoft Access, call tracking software such as
Remedy and basic data processing.
Southwestern Community College: 1993 till present. Instructor. Provided training
classes at on-campus and remote locations. Taught over 100 classes with over
1000 hours of instruction. Refined
personal oral communication presentation skills.
