Job Description
Senior Operations Technician. Worked rotating 12-hour shifts in operations and 8-hour shifts in maintenance. The Pure Air facility is a flu gas desulfurization plant. I am responsible for operating and repairing the facility depending on which shift I am working. When on an operations shifts, I am responsible for controlling the plant and/or monitoring equipment. While in maintenance I am responsible for heavy repairs on equipment to maintain proper working order. When given a task to perform I make sure all tools and equipment are needed to properly complete the job. I will not engage in a repair if the proper tools or equipment are not being used. Safety is a high priority.
