Encinitas NOW! newsletter. Conceptualized, created, write and coordinate
production of resident-oriented quarterly publication.
Annual 2001-2007 Carlsbad Calendar and Community Guide. Created,
wrote and coordinated comprehensive resource formatted as a weekly
desktop calendar; mailed to every household in Carlsbad. All five submitted
editions captured national 3CMA SAVVY awards: four first-place awards and
one second-place award.
Indian Health Council, Pala Band of Mission Indians. Create array of
informational materials, including newsletters, presentation folders and
annual reports.
Carlsbad Unified School District internal and external publications.
City of Carlsbad brochures on beaches, human resources and affordable
housing.
Hobie Cat HOTLINE magazine. Wrote features, articles and ads,

CityStuff. Co-creator and coordinator of elementary school curriculum
designed to introduce third-graders to local government. In 2006, CityStuff
won a prestigious League of California Cities Helen Putnam Award.
Carlsbad Day at the Fair. Created 2003 and 2004 Carlsbad Day at the San
Diego County Fair to showcase businesses and community organizations.
San Diego County Fair celebrity program. Obtained and coordinated
appearances by Trevor Hoffman, Ronald McDonald, original Munchkins,
Sally Ride, Julie Krone, the Famous Chicken and other local luminaries.
Public information campaigns. Created/coordinated municipal campaigns
