Care of pediatric patients. Vent dependant, care of J tube and G tube, vent management including changing circuits and settings. Trach management including stoma care and changing trach. Work closely with Doctors to manage patient at home. Order all medications and supplies. Oversee all appts. Work closely with other team members to insure the best possible care for each patient I have been assigned. My first patient would quit breathing 3 to 5 or more times a day until I took his case. Since then he has not been hospitalized or had to be bagged in almost 4 yrs.
