Financial Reporting: Oversaw the consolidation of financial statements for 11 business entities including intercompany and elimination transactions. Oversaw the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports process. Reviewed all shareholder records and coordinated the quarterly distribution of earnings, along with annual K-1 statements.

Technology Implementation & Integrations: Spearheaded the evaluation, selection and implementation of Great Plaines accounting software applications. Orchestrated data migration and integration as well as quality assurance testing. Delivered system training and technical support.

Taxation, Audit & Internal Controls: Designated point-person for external auditors and IRS/State Department of Revenue representatives. Drove timely execution in filing of Federal, State, Multi-State, Local and Payroll tax returns. * Identified and implemented technology options for on-line banking and fund investments which triggered improved cash management. Technology enhancements included: Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payments for payables and payroll; EFT deposit of all checks; Overnight sweep/investment of excess cash; and Processing of credit card receipts.

* Integrated Time and Attendance software that allowed department managers to schedule more efficiently, and monitor labor costs on a daily, weekly, monthly basis. In addition, system effectuated the ability to compare actual labor costs incurred versus budgeted thereby increasing the accuracy in projection of future labor costs and vacation time.

* Designed a new chart of accounts using Microsoft Dynamics, which incorporated the financial reporting needs of 11 operating entities. This allowed for consolidated reporting at an individual, divisional and corporate level for Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statements, Cash Flow Statements, and Budgets.

* Successfully built a dynamic team that fostered retention, the strength of shared knowledge, and collaboration.
