Negotiator with U.S. airport authorities for business use, access and
licensing rights to airport facilities and runways. Received exemptions
from revenue sharing fees at airports creating substantial cost savings.
Corporate energy liaison - developed energy strategy and
acquired energy for regions. Worked with local

During 9/11 attacks coordinated lock down of critical radio air traffic
control centers while these facilities diverted in flight aircraft over the
oceans to Canada. Also activated facilities emergency management plans.
Following 9/11 attacks managed priority real estate leasing project as a
government subcontractor to
facilitate immediate co-location of over four hundred radio
equipment sites to allow better handheld radio
coverage for screeners and airport security personnel.
Director of network operations and real estate during the northeast
power blackout. Insured all critical sites remained operational on
backup power. Monitored response plans to area wide network and power
outages
while providing executive status briefings.
Managed fast track design, engineering and installation management
for numerous State of Maryland and
local county public safety critical network infrastructures. Also
provided real estate site selection, leasing
and equipment/technology integration design for local metropolitan
area transit authorities, generating
revenue for business units.
Coordinated sublease and co-location of company owned
communications tower sites with wireless tenants
generating additional annual rental income to an aviation business

Participated in business development for international airport
facilities in China. Negotiated with Chinese
authorities for procurement of back up engine generators,
uninterruptible power systems, batteries and
power distribution systems for airport towers and terminals.
Developed a prototype modular single phase on-line uninterruptible
power system for hardware equipment
in air traffic control towers. This UPS could be bypassed without
interruption to critical loads so spare
inverter or battery modules could be hot swapped by tower
personnel.
Participated on proposal development team of nationwide government
communications infrastructure
roll out which included tower site candidate package development,
propagation analysis, real estate
acquisition/divestiture, site design, construction and multi-year
deployment plans.
Worked with Maryland Public Service Commission and Baltimore Gas
and Electric to resolve power
quality problems to headquarters facilities. Negotiated upgrade of
campus primary power distribution
system including installation of dual auto switched feeders to all
buildings from redundant substation
sources at BGE's expense. These automatically switched alternate
feeders allowed the six building
campus to continue operations without loss of productivity.
