Middleton Central Plains Area School District (Contract via ASlingAndAStone)

Since June of 2011, I have worked under contract to develop the Middleton Central Plains

Area

School District s (MCPASD) district website. This is the largest scale project I have

been a part of to

date. The original MCPASD website was built on outdated server technology and a large

number

of html files. To bring MCPASD up to date with the rest of the web, I constructed a

website built on

top of the powerful content management system Drupal, version 7.

Here is a list of just a few of the tasks I have completed on this project:

Upgrade initial website redesign from Drupal version 6 to 7.

Rebuild a premium Drupal 6 theme to run on version 7.

Integrate LDAP driven user login and directories.

Control page and node access through use of permissions and roles.

Create a district calendar and event system.

Create custom views such as the news archive, upcoming events, and submenus.

University of Wisconsin Stevens Point Advanced Development Agency

Position: Flash Developer12/2011 to 1/2012

As part of UWSP s Advanced Development Agency, I helped develop a multi -platform

software

application that focused on providing in-home therapy exercises to recovering stroke

victims. This

application was driven by an infrared, depth-sensing camera (similar to the Xbox Kinect

r), which

allowed us to capture and send the user s fingertip position to a virtual environment

built on

Away3D c and Adobe Air 3.0 c. Within this virtual environment, the user was pres ented

with a series

of unimanual games in which he or she must control the virtual hand within the

environment to

manipulate and control objects in order to complete the given task.

Vaultronics Virtual Surveillance / ApexCCTV

Position:

Web Developer12/2010 to 5/2011

My primary role at Vaultronics was web page design and layout. Most of my tasks involved

redesigning or restructuring existing web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I was

also

involved in the development of an in house CRM.
