Description:

Amicore Integrated Management (AIM) is an effort towards providing physician practices with a

paperless, wireless and complete environment, aimed towards fulfilling the needs of providers and

administrative staff. It also provides the tools needed to manage an entire practice, from first patient

contact through every office function. Key features are patient personal information tracking, historical

tests carried out, current tests with the results, prescriptions, insurance information, submission of

insurance claims electronically and interaction with external medical laboratories.

The system is optimized for the Windows XP for Tablet and wireless environments, although it can run

on everyday desktops. This product is based on server component architecture, implemented using

binary-HTTP .NET Remoting running under IIS 6.0. Physicians with Tablet PC’s and administrative

staff with desktops running a WinForms based application are the Remoting clients to a centralized

Datacenter, running on IIS 6.0 and managed by Amicore. External Interfaces were implemented using

BizTalk Server 2006/R2, MS BizTalk Accelerator for HIPAA 3.0 and MS BizTalk Accelerator for HL7

2.0.

Responsibilities:
