As GM of Targeted Publications, identified and created strategies to penetrate new, upscale markets
for magazines targeting luxury and bridal market segments. Complete P&L responsibility. Initiated
design changes in order to maintain uniqueness within the marketplace. Created distribution system
for magazines with outside vendors. Combined, the magazines generated $216,000 in revenue.
Assumed management of online auction project in addition to regular duties. This initiative resulted
in a $500k sales increase. This was achieved through coaching and assisting reps in consultative
selling with clients based on market research and analysis. Responsible for budgeting and sales trend
analysis in addition to setting and implementing sales goals, initiatives, incentives and action plans.
Partnered with Classified Ventures for cars.com, homes.com, apartments.com to develop targeted

Responsible for developing advertising launch of award-winning Outlook section, which
outperformed company expectations in generating $122,000. This initiative demonstrated skillful
team leadership in coordinating cross-functional departments such as editorial, advertising and

Quota Buster:
As Monster.com/Ohio.com Recruitment Special Project, spearheading advertising revenue project
charged with developing newbusiness in an aggressive entrepreneurial fashion. Primary focus is new
account acquisition as well as up-selling existing print-only accounts into Monster.com products in
Summit and Stark County, Ohio. Superior consultative sales approach accounted for two newclients
totaling $150,000 within first 3 weeks in position.
As Local Ad Director, responsible for $5 million budget and 16-member department. Duties include
driving revenue for all retail print categories and Ohio.com on-line products; directing all marketing
and newproduct development efforts; budgeting/forecasting; identifying trends and training needs;

community. Reorganized local retail department with physical moves, developing newsales teams

revenue in print and Ohio.com on-line sales. My team accounted for $3.9 million in annual sales.

sales approach accounted for $330,000 revenue increase in two accounts alone. Increased
