Manhattan Resources – Chicago, IL 5/2008 – 8/2008

MR recruits mid- and senior-level executives for both national and international clients in a range of energy -related

industries. Its areas of specialization include finance and accounting, risk management, energy tradin g, sales and

marketing, and IT. MR closed its office in Chicago in August 2008.

External Recruiter & General Manager

As the General Manager, I was responsible for the overall operations and profitability of the

Chicago office including the recruiting, hiring, training and managing of five (5) recruiters/staff

with 2008 Gross Revenues of $450K (as of 7/2008).

Responsible for driving all sales and leading all business development efforts for the Chicago

branch with 2009 expected Gross Revenue of $2.5M.

Part of The Advanced Group of Companies, Chicago based Advanced Financial Resources specializes in recruiting

accounting and finance professionals.

External Recruiter

Full cycle recruiter responsible for: new business development; account management; candidate

development and management; internal management reporting; and new employee recruitment,

hiring and training.

Account Management for 25 regionally HQ clients, with revenues ranging between $2M and

$12.8B annually – with a concentration in the Consumer Electronics, Manufacturing, Metal,
