Consultant (2007-Present); Vice President, Human Resources (2000-2007)

Currently leading a staff of 25 to implement an integrated accounting system which creates transparency

and streamlines internal operations among payroll, the GL, admitting, and all hospital departments. Serve

as the team lead with the vendor and proactively oversee each phase of implementation.

Previously served as the VP, HR for 7+ years and led a staff of 3 supporting 350 employees. Created all

programs and policies, developed training modules, and contributed as part of the hospital’s executive

team to facilitate better business decisions and devise strategies to ensure an effective and proactive

staff. Led wage and salary programs, and revised the compensation structure to include incentives for

the nursing staff. Passed 2 JCAHO surveys with no HR recommendations.

Provided exceptional management of the integrated accounting system, resulting in the timely

implementation of Phase I of the project. Liaised with staff and the vendor to address system issues.

Assigned tasks and created teams to address process issues. Successful go-live has integrated all

hospital functions into one system, streamlined processes, substantially increased efficiency, and

allowed for the identification of additional improvement opportunities.

Implemented a new performance management system, including a 360-degree feedback

mechanism, to review and provide constructive guidance to the 30-person management team.

Instituted an online educational requirements program which reduced labor expense by 50%.

Worked with a third-party vendor to deliver the training via PowerPoint, providing awareness of

hospital procedures and safety practices.

Generated a $150,000+ savings in claims over a 2-year period, subsequent to implementing a

return-to-work program for employees who previously filed workers’ compensation claims.

Designed and implemented a Drug-free Workplace program, including pre-employment testing

and post-accident testing.
