Employed at this company for nearly ten years. For the first three department
supervisor. Responsibilities were, but not limited to overseeing three operation lines
associated with the final production of aluminum castings for the use in the automotive
industry. Position emphasized speed and efficiency to produce quality parts for
customers.
After three years, promoted to Plant Supervisor, responsible for the entire operation of the
plant on 3rd shift, monitoring the entire operation consisting of two separate buildings and
several production lines, ensuring a high percentage of efficiency as well as product
quality, maintain the plant to proper OSHA standards allowing for a clean and safe work
environment while making sure that all areas of production are clean and that all
necessary equipment is operable ensuring a smooth transition for 1st shift production.

Corp. Held various positions operating different types of machinery with a wide range of
job experience, considered a “jack of all trades” type and was able to competently operate
many of the different machines and fill almost any position.

Product Manager Directly responsible for the P&L of the pork sausage, fresh sausage,
sliced luncheon meats, sausage kitchen, smoking operations, dry rooms, and dry sausage
pack departments. Duties included the scheduling of daily and weekly production,
coordinating manufacturing and sales while maintaining efficient inventories, and handling
the sales and public relations for Patrick Cudahy’s major sausage accounts, traveling
throughout the country to visit brokers and sell new accounts.
Production Supervisor Responsible for scheduling production, overseeing and helping
with machine set ups and changeovers, directing and training production workers, quality
control, yield management, and inventory control. Other duties included incentive
monitoring, handling production reports, time cards, vacation scheduling, grievances,
attending grievance and production meetings, maintaining high morale and communicating
company policies and making sure production workers understood the importance of
these policies. After four years, promoted to the position of Product Manager.
