ACHIEVEMENTS

CHAMPION AND PARTICIPANT IN CONVERSION OF BAY/CELL

BUILD STYLE EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION TO MIX-MODEL

FLOW LINE STYLE METHOD OF TRUCK EQUIPMENT

INSTALLATIONS IN 2 FACILITIES RESULTING IN AVERAGE

MONTHLY PRODUCTION INCREASE FROM 8 TO 15 UNITS PER

FACILITY MONTHLY.

Initiated and implemented Kanban pull system to

accommodate 45% of standardized parts used from

starting point of 0, while working with cross

functional groups to establish the current Kanban

and Supermarket system covering 70% of parts used.

This system was copied an implemented in all Terex

Utilities equipment installation facilities.

Kaizen champion for multiple projects including

SMED, TPM, One-Piece Flow, and Visual (Kanban)

Management events. Interplant and corporate events

with outside participation from other corporations.

Led Value Stream Mapping project that resulted in

the re-arranging of 162,000-sq. ft. of

manufacturing space including 81 pieces of

equipment. This project led to a 21% increase in

production along with allowing our facility to move

forward with new products and services were the

manufacturability of certain products was a primary

constraint.

Reduced internal leak rate PPM for radiator cores

from 453,000 to less than 5,000 upon completion of

Six Sigma Leak Rate Project. During this project I

acted as the primary greenbelt as well as the

project champion.

Terex Corporation - Chairman's Excellence Award

winner for participation on the "Master Production

Schedule" project to facilitate better production

scheduling and planning in which to met or exceed

customer expectations.

Implemented tool management and inventory system

for CNC department, which resulted in $72,300

annual cost savings by reduction of unused

inventory and recycling of materials.

Invented pneumatic thread gaging system for support

of one-piece flow operations along with reducing

ergonomic injuries. Patent is now held jointly by

Caterpillar and Glastonbury - Southern Gage.

Reduced Defect Ratio by 68% using PDCA methodology

for end of the line defects that included up to 41

point inspections on all General Electric

Transportation Systems OEM and after-market

products.

Implemented Continuous Improvement Spoke Teams

(C.I.S.T) for support of high performance culture

systems within a facility of 200+ employees.

Implemented Policy Deployment management method to

the fourth level based from 3-5 year strategic

goals for Xaloy using Danaher Business Model.

Trained on methodology of this management style as

well as organized G&A matrix for measures.
