I have ** years experience in USA in IBM Mainframe Application Systems. I

have worked as Systems analyst, Programmer/Analyst and consultant. In

addition to working in USA, I worked in different Software Houses in

Pakistan and developed Application Software for different Clients . I have

good system development and maintenance skill, as well as strong oral and

written communication abilities

System Design/Analyses - Involved with all phases of System Development.

Meeting with Business partners, Performed requirement gathering, Analyses

of business, Program design and Development, designed test data, Unit

testing and System /Integration testing Implementation and Maintenance.

Report Design/Development - Involved in gathering of business requirement.

Meeting with the users, designed daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and

Yearly reports layouts.

Production Support: - Involved in resolving day to day production problem

related to application and environmental issues. In my last position, I had

nearly 400 Batch / Online Transaction programs under my "Job

responsibility".

WSF2.

IBM Mainframe tools such as Xpediter, DCCS, Endevor, File-Aid, AbendAid,

Data Dictionary etc.

Little knowledge of Java, JSP, STRUTS, log4j, Serena Dimension,

Currently Working in Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan as an Application

Developer (Contractor) in the Data Acquisition group. The job includes

claims processing and loading data to DB2 tables using COBOL, DB2 load

utilities and FTP tools.

Chrysler Corporation MI, USA. Jan' 2001 (

Dec' 2007

Worked as a Contractor in the "Procurement and Supply' system, (Offload

Module)".

Work on this system for about six years. This was a legacy system,

initially developed about 15 years back. I was involved in the cloning of

USA system to Mexico. After that I was responsible for day to day

Maintenance of all three modules for USA, Canada and Mexico. I enhanced the

System by adding new programs, reports, screens and processes. I also

created all of the "Cobol Stored Procedures" as the backend, which were

used by the Java team for web development. This system was running on IBM

Mainframe using COBOL, DB2 and IMS Online transactions.

I was also responsible for resolving all the Production Abends, Scheduling

and Demands. There were about 200 Batch programs under my "Job

Responsibility" and I was maintaining all the JCL/PROCS/PARMS etc. The Job

streams under my responsibility were scheduled to run four times a day.

There were about 200 IMS online screens used interactively by the customers

such as Manufacturing Group Accounting, Buyers and Finance. The system was

creating feed for the Account payable, Receivable and Invoicing systems.

Chrysler Corporation MI, USA. Sep' 1998 (

Dec' 2000

Worked as a Contractor in the Chrysler's World Headquarter with Financial

Control Group. In this position I worked with the group and provided them

support from "Always Balanced Check Book" system. I worked directly in the

customer area and was responsible to create Adhoc reports using QMF

procedures on as required basis. The operating environment was IBM

mainframe using COBOL DB2 and IMS DB/DC.

Ford Motor Company MI, USA. Jan' 1998 (

Aug' 1998

Worked as a Contractor in the Invoicing Module in the Red Carpet Lease

System. I was involved in the design and development phase of a new module

to create Invoices to be printed by an outside company. The original

system was operational under IBM mainframe using COBOL and DB2.

Dec' 1997

Worked as a Contractor in the Chrysler's World Headquarter with Financial

Control Group. In this position I worked with the group and provided them

Novel LAN.
