knowledge management platform that to date has yielded two new

investigative leads and answered critical pre-clinical safety questions

in support of corporate goals.

. Under an aggressive timeline, successfully aligned key stakeholders,

steering committee, and project managed SharePoint for collaboration

infrastructure and service delivery model implementation (including on-

going governance, and on-shore / off-shore model).

Result - Solution provided some 200+ Amgen business groups and project

teams with collaboration sites that improved knowledge sharing, process

efficiencies, and management of information assets.

. Project managed study metrics business intelligence solution for the

Clinical Data Management (CDM) Group. The solution integrated clinical

study information from multiple sources (Oracle Clinical, Medidata EDC,

etc.) and was built on Oracle (DB), Informatica, and Cognos ReportNet.

Result - Enabled CDM Group to analyze key study metrics and take actions

for performance improvements and effective study execution.

. Ramped up Multisourcing (outsourcing) Program for Amgen stakeholders and

Vendor Management. Aligned program with other outsourcing efforts

through Shared Services Council and Service Level Management Teams.

Project managed the outsourcing of services portfolio for the SAP Center

of Excellence.

. Led off-shoring business case definition for Enterprise Business

Intelligence to include identifying offshore candidate areas, steps to

execute the plan, and cost saving opportunities of $1.5M.

Result - Defined a strategy for the HLC solution to include a program

consultants / managers for Novartis marketing data warehouse strategy

initiative in Basel, Switzerland.

Result - The strategy was presented to senior executives and outlined a

three-year program that addressed governance, initiative alignment, data

quality & integration, technical architecture, budgetary costs, staffing,

and an implementation plan.

. Project managed consulting team consisting of managers and consultants

for implementation of Pfizer's financial data warehouse. The three-year,

multi-million dollar program spanned the full software development

lifecycle, across five finance functions, and twelve financial systems.

The technologies employed were Ascential's DataStage, Oracle, and

Business Objects and the solution encompassed the integration of metadata

standards defined by the finance functions. Following company

acquisition, project managed integration of Pharmacia's financial systems

with the financial data warehouse.

Result - Fundamental business transformation of the company's finance

function by addressing decision support needs around management

reporting, financial reporting and planning, global reporting, medical &

capital projects, honoraria, travel & expenses, and vendor management.

. Project managed financial budgeting & planning and management reporting

solution for AstraZeneca. Worked directly with executives on a Financial

Planning Steering Committee and key representatives in the Corporate

Finance Group to complete the planning process definition and functional

requirements. The enabling technologies implemented for the solution

were Hyperion Essbase / Analyzer for management reporting and Hyperion's

budgeting and planning software.

Result - Enabled streamlined financial planning processes for over fifty
