OLYMPUS AMERICA, INC. Center Valley, PA - 2005 to 2009

Olympus America, a Japanese company is a worldwide leader in optical

equipment including cameras and medical devices. US sales are $2.5 billion

with $900 million being generated by the camera division.

RETAIL CREDIT SUPERVISOR

I was hired as a senior credit specialist in the camera division. Promoted

to the supervisor's position within three months. Assisted with the

relocation of the department (and company) from Melville, NY to its present

location. Hired, trained and supervised four employees.

. Reduction of DSO by 10% on a portfolio of $75 million and 1000 US and

Canadian dealers.

. Reduced deductions by $10 million or approximately 200%.

. Annual credit reviews of highest risk accounts annually with credit

line approval up to $150k.

Total responsibility for all aspects of credit management, deduction

management, collections and accounts receivable. Responsible for

departmental operating budget of $600,000 with eight employees, and bad

debt budget of $1,250,000.
